Shop and Mingle
This holiday season, I'll be selling work at Shop and Mingle at Emerge Gallery, located in downtown Greenville. The event starts Thursday, December 1st with a preview sale from 5-9pm, and includes heavy appatizers, beer, wine, door prizes, live music and a silent auction. The sale will be open to the public Friday, December 2nd, 5-9 pm and Saturday, December 3rd, 9am-4pm.I'll be taking the majority of my Etsy inventory for this sale, so if you've had your eye on a piece, I recommend you snag it sooner rather than later. I'll be making so new inventory for this sale as well, and hope to have several sets of Mica Earrings and a few Mica Necklaces for sale.
If you're in the Greenville area on these dates, stop by and say hi! The Holiday Sale will also be going on at the ECU School of Art and Design so come on out and buy handmade!

10xNine

I was asked to be a beta participant in promotional website 10xNine. This site showcases nine items from nine different online shops and viewers are asked to look at the shops and leave a comment on their favorite item, in order to be entered into a drawing for a $90 gift certificate (or 3 $30 store vouchers which can be used in up to 3 different shops). My set of gift tags is currently featured in the Black and White collection, which will be up until 2pm EST on Wednesday.
Check it out, and leave a comment!

Etsy Adds

Finally got around to added some things to the shops yesterday: books in the paper shop and charms in the jewelry shop. I'm really excited about the books. The paper is double sided so the design on the front cover of one book is on the inside of the other book, making a perfectly coordinated pair. The charms are a just a few bits and baubles I made at Peter's Valley. You can check out my paper shop here.

Etsy Adds

Added a new "Charms" section to the Etsy shop today! These are small, quick little pieces made from whatever I come across. You never know what you'll find!

Etsy Adds

So I finally got some new pieces listed in my Etsy shops. Mostly necklaces in the jewelry shop; earrings and rings will come later this week. And new to the paper shop, handmade books! These are small blank books, good for whatever. They come in sets of three at this point and I have a variety of covers to pick from. I have a bunch of single books, and I can't decide if I want to list them separately, or as a group where you can pick the three you want. What do you think?
Happy Monday!

Melisma
So I had another "Universe Moment" today. Something I read helped me finally make sense of a past encounter and put it in the light of the present. I wrote up a whole post about it, quote included, super excited about this newest little tidbit of clarity, went to spell check it, and whoops! Two thirds of it disappeared.
I couldn't bring myself to re-type it. Maybe it's not important. Maybe it's only important to me. Maybe our shining moments of clarity are only significant to us because they're ours.
So here's something a little more universal, a recent great Etsy find, I've been wanting to post:
