This is the intaglio plate I'm currently working on. I call it "Gigantor", because it's the biggest plate I've ever done. It's really not that big, only 12 x 18 inches, but it's one of the biggest things I've made in a long time.
I hold a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Kent State University and an MFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University. In 2012, I curated the international, juried exhibition "Hot Under the Collar" and was the Artist Fellow in Fine Metals at Peters Valley Craft Center. I currently teach adjunct at Craven Community College in New Bern, NC.
