Here's a pic of the brooch I made last week. I used copper and mica. It's kinda biggish. The copper is matte black, which doesn't really show in this photo. I made a similar pair of earrings the other day. Pics soon.
I hold a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Kent State University and an MFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University. In 2012, I curated the international, juried exhibition "Hot Under the Collar" and was the Artist Fellow in Fine Metals at Peters Valley Craft Center. I currently teach adjunct at Craven Community College in New Bern, NC.
